INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY OF FIRE PREVENTION

A device of any form and size made by this technology can remain for many years in “standby mode” and automatically extinguish fire in a place where it occurs, without letting it develop into a fire.

Today various composite materials have been created by FIPRON™ technology capable of suppressing fire. The structure of such materials includes microcapsules with fire retardant agent confined within. When the activation temperature is reached, the microcapsule shell explodes and the liquid in it discharges the extinguishing agent as gas. The concentration of O2 in the environment decreases, the extinguishing gas concentration increases. Heat is absorbed by cooling effect and fire formation is prevented.

About FIPRON™ Technology

FIPRON™ is the first company that uses microencapsulation technology in firefighting. We have created a miniature autonomous fire extinguisher.

We have developed a unique technology of using a microencapsulation method of various gases which are used for fire extinguishing purposes. Our capsules can remain in a “Standby Mode” for over five years, therefore storing fire extinguishing agents, which are automatically released when needed.

When capsules reach operating temperature of 120°C, they burst and release active agent. Active agents can extinguish fires of class A, B, C, and is intended for the protection of electrical equipment. Until the temperature is reached, capsules remain intact within the rage of ambient -50°C to +80°C
